Service is what we are all about here at Golden West Coach. “What kind of service do I get”, you may ask? Below we have outlined the service we provide to all our clients (a whopping 14 steps!) from beginning to end, step by step. But if this still doesn’t answer your question, we would love to go over it with you personnaly in greater detail. We want you to know we’re doing the best possible job on your vehicle so that you’ll keep us in mind in the future (and let your friends know too).

OUR 14 STEP PROCESS:
FROM ARRIVAL TO DELIVERY

01 Arrival

  1. When You Arrive
When you come in to Golden West Coach Collision Center, you will be welcomed and asked to fill out a simple form. One of our Customer Service Specialist will then personally go over every detail of the repair job with you so you know exactly what work needs to be completed on your vehicle.

02 Towing

  1. Towing It In
If your car cannot be driven to our center, take advantage of our towing service (please, for your safety, never drive a damaged car that could be unsafe to drive). The cost of the tow is built-in to your estimate and approved by your insurance company so that you don't pay out of pocket. We will issue you a "Towing Card" for future visits if the need arises.

03 Estimating

  1. The Estimate
Your estimate will be prepared personally by our estimators with years of experience in the auto-body and paint industry, guaranteeing you the most accurate and thorough estimate available anywhere. Every detail is covered since we never leave anything to chance.

04 Customer Service

  1. Customer Service
Your Customer Service Specialist will step you through each section of your cost estimate and obtain insurance authorization, if necessary, while you wait. You will also be informed of all repair details including a completion timeline, as well as contact you personally with any updates as they arise.

05 Car Rental (Enterprise)

  1. Car Rental
Getting you temporary vehicle couldn't be easier. Because of our excellent relationship with Enterprise Rent-A-Car, our Customers can enjoy the convenience of on-site car rental.

06 Disassembly

  1. Tearing It Down
We start the physical process by getting your vehicle prepared for repair by removing all visually damaged parts. If during the tear down inspection any hidden damage is revealed, you and your Insurance Company (when needed) will be informed.

07 Frame Shop

  1. Frame Shop
Most damaged vehicles require the frame to be straightened. Our Shark Frame Diagnostic System and Chief EZ Liner frame puller enable precise accuracy when repairing your vehicle's frame so that panels align to factory specification and your car goes down the road in a straight line.

08 Sheet Metal Work

  1. Sheet Metal Work
Sheet metal repairs are completed in specialized bays equipped with the most up-to-date equipment, including ProSpot welders, to create spot welds like those used in the automobile manufacturing industry.

09 Prep Station

  1. Prep Station
To get your vehicle ready for paint, precise sanding and careful masking of all areas of the vehicle are required. The prep work is the difference between a top-notch paint job and a mediocre one.

10 Paint Shop

  1. Paint Shop
Your vehicle will be painted with only PPG paints and clearcoats by our PPG Certified Painters. PPG commercial coatings are what most car manufacturers use (factory paint) and are applied in our state-of-the-art Garmat spray/baking booths which utilizes state-of-the-art European downdraft technology. We are an Authorized PPG Paint Center.

11 Reassembly

  1. Vehicle Reassembly
The vehicle is reassembled to exact manufacturer specifications after all repair work is completed and inspected by the Quality Control Supervisor.

12 Detailing

  1. Final Clean-Up and Detailing

13 Final Inspection

  1. Final Inspection
All aspects of the repair are thoroughly inspected on a 4 post lift to make sure nothing was left to chance and guaranteed to meet factory specifications.

14 Delivery & Warranty

  1. Delivery to Client
After final inspection your Customer Service Specialist will contact and present you with your finished vehicle, making sure to point out all repairs that were completed as well as providing any additional instructions and tips regarding the care for your newly refinished vehicle. In conclusion you also receive our “Lifetime Limited Warranty” certificate (click on link to view certificate).
